Puddie had a good day yesterday at Adrian Soaring Club. It was his first day acting as the “Ops Officer.” I’m not sure what that means but I think it means that he is the mini director and handles scheduling and other things related to the daily operation of the club.
Wednesday is the only weekday that the club is open, yet he said that there was a lot of hustle and bustle and people hanging around chatting while waiting for their turn to fly. By contrast, Ionia is more peaceful and you schedule a glider, show up and it is all yours. Also, while the flight time limit at the club is one hour while others are waiting, at Ionia you can schedule for a longer time.
