We just returned from a fairly long walk. I’ll never know how long because I left my GPS on the porch railing–darn! We walked down to the North side at Manly Beach. It really isn’t that long a walk and it’s pretty nice there with a nice park called Manly Park.
I just installed Wine on fedora so that I can run a universal usb installer that is recommended for installing ubuntu linux on a usb. I couldn’t get it to work. I finally did a yum find usb and found something called unetbootin. I installed that and ran it and had instant success, also managed to install with data persistence. Not able to create a persistent home directory like with fedora using livecd-iso-to-disk-format. It works pretty well though, probably faster than Fedora.
