I recently discovered that XCSoar has a “file manager.” The “file manager” allows you to download any of the scenery. I found it a little flaky though. It often looks like it has downloaded the scenery but upon checking, I’ve found that the file has 0 byte size! It becomes necessary to tell it to download again. Then a restart of XCSoar is necessary to load the scenery even though it may already be selected.
